Abstract : Due to the extensive use of industrial development and various types of machinery and equipment , there have been a variety of filters appears. A vacuum pump must have three filters which are air filters , oil filters and exhaust filters.

Filter devices are indispensable key components for vacuum pump equipment. Then how is the Busch vacuum filter production process? Let us talk about the exhaust filter manufacturing process first.

First, Busch vacuum filter selection are key determinants of good and bad effects of filter effect. General exhaust filter is a glass fiber filter, different displacement pumps for precision glass fiber filter requirements are different. Different density of glass fiber overlap decide different filter pore size. Different pore size also determines the different filtration precision.

Second is to select the skeleton. Generally we will select skeleton made of galvanized metal mesh or diamond dragnet in conventional hydraulic oils. Thickness of the filter cartridge is based on the pressures that can withstand by the filter. Usually we will use 0.5 -0.8 mm thickness. However there are some manufacturers pursuit of low price and choose a thickness of 0.3 mm, although it does not change the appearance of filter , but the pressure filter capacity will be greatly reduced, so users need to pay attention when buying the filter. Different filter media and skeleton can also use stainless steel or other plastics materials.

Then is the select of cover. Cover materials of Busch vacuum filter  generally used in stamping parts, 0.8 mm thick galvanized end caps are commonly used materials and also machined aluminum cover. But there is are some filter with a bypass valve which will use plastic end caps with a bypass valve .

After the selection of material is finished, then is the filter processing. This process need to use a lot of special equipment such as skeleton cutting machine, rolling equipment, welding equipment, cover stamping equipment, injection molding equipment, paper- cutting equipment, roll device, ultrasound machine, plastic injection machinery, tooling and assembly jigs. Each device will complete a process which is more complicated. Cost of imported fiberglass material and also labor is very high.

Cost and quality will be different if we choose different materials and production processes. Thus, users need to consider the price, materials and also workmanship during filter selection.
